@Mark Coles Sorry from Teagan's message it sounded like he was lookng to replacing the SnapINverter. If he adds a GEN24 inverter with battery, the GEN24 can provide backup but the snapinverter will turn off in a power outage. if you do quote the GEN24 be sure to quote the contactor and relay for backup

@Andrew Thomson Sorry I worded it badly, I suggested that he should change the snap to a GEN 24, he didn't mention increasing the size, but wanted the back up capability if possible. I detailed a 5kw because I am aware of the wait on the larger models. I suggested 5kw GEN 24 13.8kw BYD HVM.

      Kind regards

@Mark Coles did you want to give Scott a call firstly? Talk to him about the new larger Primo GEN24 models 8 and 10 that can give greater backup power. Compatible with BYD batteries (refer to compatibility table on BYD page). Anything you are unsure of just reach out to me please. Scott Black (0419 727 114) thanks

      Hi Andrew
He has a 5kw Primo snap onsite, will he get back-up facility with a 5kw GEN 24? Only problem with the larger GEN 24 is that we won't see them until November.

      Kind regards
